Douglas Skelton is a Scottish author known for his crime fiction and true crime writing. He was born in Glasgow and worked as a journalist for many years before becoming a full-time author. Skelton is perhaps best known for his Rebecca Connolly series, featuring a Glasgow-based investigative journalist.   • McGill’s bus routes 531, 532, 533 stop in Port Glasgow town centre, this is only a short walk from the library.

There is a public car park near the library, you can park for free for 3 hours with a ticket from the machine. Parking is £2 for the day.
