The Galoshans Mini Film Festival will showcase 12 films carefully selected by local young people and volunteer curators supported by RIG Arts, each offering something outside of mainstream or commercial genres. The films will explore themes of horror, heritage, and homegrown talent, with the aim of providing Inverclyde audiences with unique cultural experiences.

The festival will take viewers on a cinematic journey that broadens appreciation for diverse film styles and expands cultural horizons.
The curated programme will run alongside the Waterfront Cinemas Greenock’s more mainstream Halloween screenings, offering a perfect balance of commercial and independent cinema. A RIG Arts project Supported by Film Hub Scotland, part of the BFI’s Film Audience Network, awarding funding on behalf of Screen Scotland and the BFI National Lottery.
