Inverclyde’s beloved Galoshans Mini Parade and Street Party is back for its 11th year!
This year’s event promises to enchant and entertain with a captivating mix of art, music, street theatre, live performances, and Halloween fun, all inspired by Inverclyde’s Galoshans traditions. Join us for the Mini Parade starting at Custom House Way, between West College Scotland and the Waterfront Leisure Centre in Greenock.
Walk (or dance) alongside the YMI Street Band and RIG Arts’ Galoshans Giants as we kick off the festivities and head toward Custom House Quay for the Street Party. The Street Party will feature live music, arts & crafts workshops, interactive street theatre, storytelling, projections, and will be a Halloween Spectacle for the whole family. Keep an eye out for CLOTA, the Goddess of the Sea and be sure to catch a glimpse of the giant fallen angel installation!
For those looking for a quieter moment, the Art Bus will be on-site offering a sensory-friendly space to unwind. Come and celebrate creativity, community, and Inverclyde’s unique Galoshans heritage
