Description

As part of Galoshans 2026 X Feral Takeover Programme

“Europe, Meine Liebe, Mon Amour – A performance in four Absurdities”, is a new piece of visual theatre by Bruno Gallagher that takes the form of a series of four absurdist, physical-performance vignettes fusing together elements of object manipulation, mask play, costume dictated restricted and altered movement and dance. The four Absurdities are inspired by memories and dreams of travels in Europe and elements of autobiography. The work is accompanied by abstract soundscapes and recorded music.

Central to the work is Bruno’s idea the of bringing his 2-dimensional drawing to life as animated compositions of shapes, forms and colours.
