Curious about Scottish traditional music? If you are a complete beginner to music and instruments, these relaxed one-to-one taster lessons are the perfect way to explore the rich sounds of Scotland’s folk tradition. 

Led by a friendly and experienced musician, each session is tailored to your pace and interest—covering iconic tunes, rhythm and ornamentation, ear training, and the cultural stories behind the music.
