As part of Galoshans 2025 X Feral Takeover Programme
A family friendly pop-up dance performance visiting The Wyllieum.
Expect a colourful, dynamic and visually vibrant dance duet exploring adolescence. Having premiered at Edinburgh International Children’s Festival, these performances of Pop! are completely free, and will leave you and your family energised.
Pop! was born from the choreographers vivid memories of adolescence; from his voice surprisingly breaking mid word to random growth spurts and the relentless growth of hair in new places. Being thrust forward to step onto this unsteady teenage terrain in a thunderstorm of hormones all while trying to figure out who he was in the world.
Vince Virr is a choreographer, performer and vertical dancer/aerial director with vast experience touring, presenting and collaborating in more than 28 countries across six continents. His work explores the stories often confined within modern societal structures.
